A Featured article first appeared on the Main Page on 4 April 2016, the first article chosen being GWR 17410 'Toad' 20T Goods Brake Van. Since that time a new article from the Wiki has been selected, normally on a weekly basis. The 100th article to be featured, WD 193 Shropshire, appeared on 30 July 2018, with the 200th article being The Thirty Nine Steps on 20 July 2020. The 300th article, relating to the GWRGreat Western Railway's Country Lorry Service and Cartage Service, appeared on 4 July 2022.
