Preservation
4345 and 4593 were selected as the best of a number examined at Carnforth, and both arrived on the SVRSevern Valley Railway from there on 16 and 22 March 1988 respectively. At the time they were intended as replacements for two other TSOs, 4399 and 4584,[2] although in the event 4584 was retained until 1995 while 4399 is still resident on the SVRSevern Valley Railway.
It is seen photographed in March 2015 as part of the BR Maroon set.
On 28 March 2018 it was moved to the dock platform at Bewdley to serve as a seating area for Bewdley buffet.
