On September 20 in SVR history.
- 1970 Black 5 45110 entered service on the SVR.[1] An image from the David Cooke Collection can be found here.
- 1971: Ex Longmoor Military Railway WD Austerity 2-10-0 No 600 Gordon and three ex-Longmoor Military Railway saloons arrived on loan from The Transport Trust.[2] LMS 26986 Brake Third Corridor also arrived on the SVR from Worcester.
- 1999 Contractors Carillion began work on Kidderminster Carriage Shed[3].
