• 1970 Black 5 45110 entered service on the SVR. An image from the David Cooke Collection can be found here.
• 1971: Ex Longmoor Military Railway WD Austerity 2-10-0 No 600 Gordon and three ex-Longmoor Military Railway saloons arrived on loan from The Transport Trust. LMS 26986 Brake Third Corridor also arrived on the SVR from Worcester.
• 1999 Contractors Carillion began work on Kidderminster Carriage Shed.
• 2024: Friday of the Autumn Steam Gala which featured guest locomotives GWR 2999 Lady of Legend, LMS 44932, LMS 45596 Bahamas and 51456 [LMS 11456].
• 2025: Saturday of the Autumn Steam Gala, featuring guest locomotives SR 35006 Peninsular & Oriental S N Co, LMS 47298, 73082 Camelot and NCB No 49, and including overnight running.
