  • 1977 Filming of Candleshoe with David Niven took place at Waterworks Crossing.[2]
  • 1985 The Erlestoke Manor Fund organised the first Kidderminster Rail/Road Rally, with a selection of visiting vintage cars and buses.[3]
  • 1991 The SVRSevern Valley Railway's first 2-Car DMU set was formally commissioned. After a return trip from Kidderminster to Bridgnorth, the MD of Regional Railways presented the key to officers of the DMU Group.[4]
