On February 7 in SVRSevern Valley Railway history.- 1963 The Ensign at RAF Bridgnorth was lowered for the last time.
- 1970 The SVRSevern Valley Railway collected several tons of used wagon timbers from Bescot, for use in replacing the treads on Bridgnorth Station Footbridge.[1]
- 1992 Night time filming took place at Kidderminster for the BBC TV series 'Virtual Murder'.[2]
- 1998 LNER 'Gresley Teak' 24105 entered service following restoration including conversion to a Wheelchair Open Third[3].
