- 1966 The second day of a 3-day Bridgnorth Station 'open weekend' which saw an exhibition of railway relics in connection with Bridgnorth Arts Festival. This event included a steam roller operating in the road outside the station[1].
- 1980 During an official visit to Shropshire, the Lord Mayor of London travelled from Hampton Loade to Bridgnorth on a special train comprising 4930 Hagley Hall, GWR 80969 Inspection Saloon and BR 3083 Experimental Open[2].
