On July 25 in SVR history.
- 1965 The Severn Valley Railway Society returned to Bridgnorth Station and found that BR had resumed the removal of track. The Society authorised John Garth to send a telegram to British Rail asking them to stop taking up the line.[1]
- 1970 46521 was purchased from Barry Scrapyard.[2]
- 1975 'Toad' 68501 arrived on the SVR from Radstock[3]
- 1997 Paul Fathers rejoined the SVR(H) Board
- 2004 The Hampton Loade Station Gala featured their fourth Velocipede Rally.[4]
- 2008 LMR 600 Gordon was formally handed over from the Army Museum to the SVR in a ceremony at The Engine House.[5]
- 2009 7802 Bradley Manor reached 100,000 miles in preservation[6].
- 2025: The SVR reopened over the full line following the completion of repairs at Mor Brook. 60163 Flying Scotsman hauled the reopening train. On the same day, a convoy of SVR locomotives left the SVR to attend The Greatest Gathering event.
