  • 1953 Ex-LMSLondon Midland & Scottish Railway 'Crab' 42897 hauled a through excursion from Burton-on-Trent and Walsall to Bewdley and Stourport.[1]
  • 1970 Work began to reinstate the locomotive watering facilities at Bridgnorth which had been removed by BRBritish Rail or British Railways after closure.[2]

  • 2002 The body of Barry Railway Carriage 163 was mounted on the shortened underframe of a 4-wheeled ex-SRSouthern Railway Guards and Luggage van

  • 2008 Sir Nigel GresleySir Nigel Gresley, Chief Mechanical Engineer (CME) of the London & North Eastern Railway 1923-1941's grandson Tim Godfrey recommissioned newly restored GNR 2701 Composite Corridor and presented the SVRSevern Valley RailwaySVRA:Severn Valley Railway AssociationSVRS:Severn Valley Railway Society with Sir Nigel's top hat on loan for display in The Engine House.[5]
