Nick Paul (born January 1945) became a Severn Valley Railway life member in 1997.[1] He was an SVR(H) director between 2002 and 2023, and served as Chairman from July 2011 to September 2021, being succeeded by Mike Ball. Paul was also a Trustee of Severn Valley Railway Charitable Trust Ltd from 2012 until he stepped down as SVRH Chairman.

He was schooled in Worcester and attended Bristol and Warwick Universities. He is a member of the Institute of Mechanical Engineering and a past member of the Institute of Management Consultants.
