- 1877 this was the revised deadline for the completion of the Kidderminster Loop Line under the GWRGreat Western Railway Act 1875. Services in fact began on 1 June 1878.
- 1957 The 4.10pm Saturdays only Hartlebury to Shrewsbury service was headed by ex-GWR Large Prairie No 6118.[1]
- 1988 The remaining short spur of the Severn Valley branch from Sutton Bridge Junction, serving the Shrewsbury Abbey sidings oil depot, was closed to rail traffic.[2]
