- 1953 Ex-LMSLondon Midland & Scottish Railway 'Crab' 42897 hauled a through excursion from Burton-on-Trent and Walsall to Bewdley and Stourport.[1]
- 1970 Work began to reinstate the locomotive watering facilities at Bridgnorth which had been removed by BRBritish Rail or British Railways after closure.[2]
- 1979 LNWRLondon & North Western Railway 3020 Cornwall arrived at the SVRSevern Valley Railway on loan from the National Railway Museum, having travelled from Crewe to Bewdley behind ex-works Brush Type 4The British Railways classification for diesel locomotives of 2000 bhp to 2999 bhp 47536.[3]
- 1984 GWR 42138 'Loriot D' Machinery Truck arrived on the SVRSevern Valley Railway from Barry Scrapyard
- 1989 BR 16169 Composite Corridor arrived on the SVRSevern Valley Railway
- 2002 The body of Barry Railway Carriage 163 was mounted on the shortened underframe of a 4-wheeled ex-SRSouthern Railway Guards and Luggage van
- 2004 Ivatt Class 2 46443 was involved in a collision with a van at Fishermen's Crossing.[4] The SVRSevern Valley Railway was later cleared of any blame for the collision.
- 2008 Sir Nigel GresleySir Nigel Gresley, Chief Mechanical Engineer (CME) of the London & North Eastern Railway 1923-1941's grandson Tim Godfrey recommissioned newly restored GNR 2701 Composite Corridor and presented the SVRSevern Valley Railway with Sir Nigel's top hat on loan for display in The Engine House.[5]
