Talk:BR 993898 'Shark' Ballast Plough Brake

As a prompt as much as anything, I'm pretty sure this van will have vacated the loco works, and possibly repairs complete, but haven't seen anything about it since 2023. Any sightings at Bridgnorth cattle dock please, or elsewhere?--Patrick Hearn (talk) 16:35, 30 September 2024 (UTC)

There was a Shark in the cattle dock today which I think must be 993898 (it's under a bright yellow tarp so I couldn't ID it for sure). --Robin (talk) 16:14, 12 October 2024 (UTC)

Just as an update, the one under the tarp is indeed 993898 (the other one is in the siding at Eardington). There was a shunt going on at Bridgnorth this morning which I was told was to extract 993898 from the cattle dock and move it back into the works for more attention to the roof.--Robin (talk) 21:16, 26 October 2024 (UTC)
