*1825 [[Henry Orlando Bridgeman]] was born. He was the Resident Engineer responsible for day-to-day construction work on the Severn Valley Railway and laid the foundation stone of [[Victoria Bridge]] in 1859.<ref>Grace's Guide</ref>
*1963 [[Sellick Collection|R J Sellick]] took photographs of now-preserved [[BR Riddles 4MT 80072]] and other images on a snowy Severn Valley Branch. GWR Pannier 3619 was also in service.
*1985 The SVR was presented with the [[Awards|ARPS Award]] for [[The development of Kidderminster Town Station|the re-opening of Kidderminster Town station]]. The ceremony took place at the [[National Railway Museum | NRM ]] at York<ref>SVR News 75</ref>.
