}}The design of this LMS 9ft wheelbase van was based on a 1911 Midland Railway 10ft wheelbase van, although it was built at the former rival LNWR company works at Wolverton in 1928. The ends were built with vents, which were removed during departmental service.<ref name=SB9>SVR Stock Book Ninth Edition</ref>
It arrived on the SVR on 12 February 1993 from Banbury.<ref name=SB9/> It was considered in good condition, requiring only repairs to one of the sliding doors and a quick repaint before entering service.<ref>SVR News 111</ref> The van was used in an episode of [[Oh, Doctor Beeching!]] at [[Arley]] in 1996, when it supposedly contained a lion.
The photograph shows the van at [[Bewdley]] in 2015. It is privately owned.<ref>[http://www.ws.rhrp.org.uk/ws/WagonInfo.asp?Ref=8227 Railway Heritage Register Wagon Survey] (retrieved 16 January 2017)</ref>
