In common with all stations on the Severn Valley Railway throughout that time, revenue from freight exceeded that from passenger services. The decrease in tickets sold from 1903 to 1938 was proportionately greater at Berrington than any other station on the Branch.<ref>[[Bibliography#Books|Nabarro (1971)]] p. 56.</ref>
