*[[Severn Valley Railway Timeline 1970-1979#1970|1970]] The SVR arranged an informal meeting to ensure it had the membership's support for the proposed extension to [[Foley Park]]. Around 300 SVR members attended and were in favour of the proposals<ref>SVR News 18</ref>.
