- 1980 Ruston and Hornsby 165hp Diesel Shunter 418789 Archibald arrived on the SVR, one of four shunters acquired from Patent Shaft.
- 1990 SVR Patron HRH The Duke of Gloucester officially opened Bridgnorth boiler shop.[1]
- 1992 LMS 31420 Gangwayed Full Brake arrived on the SVR from Stonebridge Park, North London.
- 2022: LNER B1 Class No. 61306 Mayflower arrived for test running following an overhaul which included the fitting of air brakes.
