- 1861 During the Railway's construction, a labourer was injured by a fall of earth and stones in Mount Pleasant cutting.[1]
- 1978 Large Prairie 4150 arrived at Bewdley from Parkend on the Dean Forest Railway, with GWR/BR 92080 Fruit D Van.[2]
- 2011 BR Class 20 D8059 returned to the SVR following engine repairs at Washwood Heath[3].
- 2026 The SVR Class 14 Company Limited annonced that they were becoming the new owner of BR Class 07 D2996 which would relocate to the SVR and be based at Bridgnorth.
