The Halt was filmed by Cental TV as Episode 12, Series 5 of ‘Dramarama’, a British children's anthology series broadcast on ITV between 1983 and 1989. Arley became “Newton Halt” for the filming in April 1987, which included BRBritish Rail or British Railways Tyseley’s only ‘all blue’ 3 car DMUDiesel Multiple Unit borrowed for the occasion.
