Pro tem split the news items to a new sub-heading and added the commentary to the promo videos, as suggested
The Wikipedia Severn Valley Railway Page has a section on the SVR on film and TV which has a few more that might be worth including.--Robin (talk) 11:38, 29 January 2015 (UTC)

Rosie and Jim
I am convinced that an episode of the children's series "Rosie and Jim" featured their canal boat going under Victoria Bridge with 8233 stopping on the bridge and whistling. I can't find it anywhere though. Anyone else want to try? --Patrick Hearn (talk) 16:55, 19 December 2016 (UTC)
:It's not the obvious "Steam Train" episode, which was filmed on the Battlefield Line. I haven't found any reference to the SVR in connection with R&J, although I haven't sat down to watch all 176 episodes either! --Robin (talk) 17:55, 10 January 2017 (UTC)
::This did get resolved, per the article it was Series 1 Episode 19, titled 'Steam'.--Robin (talk) 23:01, 16 February 2021 (UTC)

Inside Severn Valley Railway
: I've never heard of it, but I do know "Severn Valley volunteer Nick Wright"... I shall make enquiries! --Danny252 (talk) 13:52, 9 January 2017 (UTC)
:: The internet makes enquiries rather quick these days! The show is by Studio Vega Myst Productions, and is currently in post-production. --Danny252 (talk) 13:55, 9 January 2017 (UTC)
:::Thanks - look forward to seeing it when it airs. Hopefully the SVR will get some advance notice so it can be advertised in the same way as the Scotsman programme was. --Robin (talk) 17:55, 10 January 2017 (UTC):::::I've not seen anything since so assume this never made it to broadcast.--Robin (talk) 22:58, 16 February 2021 (UTC)  ===Official and promotional videos===The official and promotional videos section has had nothing added since Jan 2019. The SVR now regularly produces material, I’ve counted around 30 in the last 12 months with 3 currently in edit. I’m minded to cover this with a note that says from around 2020 the SVR moved into frequent videos and not seek to list them all? Thoughts please?--Patrick Hearn (talk) 21:33, 16 February 2021 (UTC):If there's that many then my feeling would be not to list them all as you say, or if we do want to list them them do a 'main article' link and move them to a separate page. I similarly wonder about the TV News and Documentary section; I'm thinking about emphasising the Documentary aspect (the longer Fred Dibnah/Michael Portillo/Guy Martin type programmes) and moving the 5-minute Midlands Today interview type stuff to a sub-page.--Robin (talk) 22:58, 16 February 2021 (UTC)::Thanks. Pro tem I've split the news items to a new sub-heading (so there's no issue with breaking links) and added the commentary to the promo videos, as suggested--Patrick Hearn (talk) 11:19, 17 February 2021 (UTC)
