- 1980 The SVRSevern Valley Railway played host to two railtours on the same day, enabling the Bridgnorth PA to announce "The next service will call at Bewdley, Basingstoke, Winchester, Eastleigh and Southampton. Change at Bewdley for Leeds, Keighley, Haworth and Oxenhope."[1]
- 1988 The SVRSevern Valley Railway launched a prospectus for a share issue to raise funds for the construction of Bridgnorth Boiler Shop[2].
