*1974 Two mobile cranes visited Bridgnorth. [[46443]] was re-wheeled after axle box repairs, and the boiler from [[80079]] was lifted.<ref>SVR News 31, 34</ref>
*[[Severn Valley Railway Timeline 1990-1999#1990 | 1990]] The [[Bridgnorth Footbridge Trust]] launched an appeal to raise £275,000 to build a new [[Bridgnorth#Footbridge outside Bridgnorth Station|footbridge outside Bridgnorth Station]], replacing the old bridge which had been demolished in 1976. The Trust's chairman was Sir William McAlpine, then owner of Flying Scotsman.
