On March 30 in SVRSevern Valley Railway history.- 1974 Two mobile cranes visited Bridgnorth. 46443 was re-wheeled after axle box repairs, and the boiler from 80079 was lifted.[1]
- 1990 The Bridgnorth Footbridge Trust launched an appeal to raise £275,000 to build a new footbridge outside Bridgnorth Station, replacing the old bridge which had been demolished in 1976. The Trust's chairman was Sir William McAlpine, then owner of Flying Scotsman. The new footbridge was completed in 1994.[2]
