*1977 Season 3 episode 3 'Law of the Jungle' of the TV [[Survivors#Survivors_episodes|Survivors series]] was first broadcast.*1990 [[Class 108 DMU]] vehicles M51941 and M52064 arrived on the SVR from Doncaster via Tyseley, initially on a two year loan.*[[Severn Valley Railway Timeline 1990-1999#1990 | 1990]] The [[Bridgnorth Footbridge Trust]] launched an appeal to raise £275,000 to build a new [[Bridgnorth#Footbridge outside Bridgnorth Station|footbridge outside Bridgnorth Station]], replacing the old bridge which had been demolished in 1976. The Trust's chairman was Sir William McAlpine, then owner of Flying Scotsman.
