  • 1965 A meeting took place at the Coopers Arms in Kidderminster which resulted in the formation of the Severn Valley Railway Society, the origin of the present day SVR.[1]
  • 1986 A celebration was held to mark the SVR's 'coming of age. 'SVR 21' was attended by many of the original members of the SVRA, and the day included a visit to the Coopers Arms[2].
