  • 1969 LMS Stanier 8F 48773 arrived on the SVRSevern Valley Railway in working order from BRBritish Rail or British Railways's Rose Grove depot.[1]
  • 1972 Frank Cronin visited the derelict Heaton Mersey diesel depot, identifying that the shed could subsequently be acquired to form part of Bridgnorth MPD.[2]
  • 1976 The UpIn reference to the direction of travel means towards the major terminus (i.e. towards Kidderminster on the present day SVR) Home signal at Bewdley was taken down due to rot in the base of the post. The upper portion was saved and later became the down home signal at Arley.[3]
