  • 1939 Two ground frames were brought into use at Alveley Sidings.
  • 1958 Future SVRSevern Valley Railway resident 80079 overran signals in thick fog and was in a rear-end collision with another passenger train at Dagenham, Essex.[1]
  • 1981 WD 193 Shropshire left Bridgnorth for Hereford in light steam in the company of 4930 Hagley Hall and 45000. The planned loan eventually became a permanent departure.[2]
