This ex-ICI bogie hopper wagon was designed and built by Charles Roberts & Co. of Wakefield in 1938 as wagon no. 3252.  It was used to haul limestone traffic from the quarries at Tunstead, near Buxton in the Derbyshire Peak District, to the I.C.I. processing works at Northwich.  For this it was given BR TOPS no. 19052 and LMS registration no. 151397.  The official tare weight is quoted as 23 tons, with a load carried of 43½ tons.

ICI Bogie Steel Hopper Wagon 19052

This ex-ICI bogie hopper wagon was designed and built by Charles Roberts & Co. of Wakefield in 1938 as wagon no. 3252. It was used to haul limestone traffic from the quarries at Tunstead, near Buxton in the Derbyshire Peak District, to the I.C.I. processing works at Northwich.
