A new footbridge was built under the auspices of the Bridgnorth Footbridge Trust and opened on 22 July 1994. The Trust, Charity number 701636, was registered on 1 June 1989 and removed from the register on 27 February 1998 when it ceased to exist. Ownership of the footbridge transferred to Shropshire County Council. The War Memorial in Bridgnorth High Town’s Castle Gardens can also be seen in the gallerythis image.
