On April 23 in SVRSevern Valley Railway history.
- 1976 GWR 7812 Erlestoke Manor arrived on the SVRSevern Valley Railway.[1]
- 1977 The second main line rail tour took place using the SVRSevern Valley Railway's rake of GWR coaches. The trip, a return working to Chester, used 6000 King George V and 46201 Princess Elizabeth.[2]
- 1983 Jinty 47383 re-entered service following an overhaul[3].
