- 1962 In the final year of BR services, ex-GWR 'Large Prairie' 4129 was photographed at Arley with the 12.10pm Bridgnorth to Hartlebury service.[1]
- 1976: Around 200 EMF Shareholders and SVR members took part in a sponsored walk of the trackbed between Bridgnorth and Ironbridge to help raise funds for restoration of 7812 Erlestoke Manor, which had arrived the day before.
- 1982 7812 Erlestoke Manor and 4930 Hagley Hall took the Welsh Marches Pullman between Shrewsbury and Hereford.[2][3]
- 1992 LNER 60009 Union of South Africa departed after undergoing maintenance over the winter as a guest of the SVR[4].
- 2010 DEMU 1001 operated Hastings Diesels Limited’s 'Severn Explorer' railtour from Hastings to Bridgnorth[5].
- 2022: Sunday of the Spring Steam Gala which featured guest locomotives 2999 Lady of Legend, 30506 [SR 506] and 60007 Sir Nigel Gresley [LNER 4498].
