It arrived on the SVRSevern Valley Railway on 12 February 1993 from Banbury.[1] It was considered in good condition, requiring only repairs to one of the sliding doors and a quick repaint before entering service.[2] The van was used in an episode of Oh, Doctor Beeching! at Arley in 1996, when it supposedly contained a lion.
The photograph shows the van at Bewdley in 2015. It is privately owned.[3]
