99965 was built at Swindon in 1927 to Diagram O19, Lot 971. It is a 25 foot 4-wheel 4-plank open wagon with a capacity of 14 tons, designed to carry steel pipes. It originally had the telegraphic code 'Open C', later re-coded ‘Tube’ during the 1940s. It was acquired for preservation from Wolverton Carriage Works, arriving on the SVR on 5 in May 19981988.
