2080 was built at the St Rollox works of the Caledonian Railway, Glasgow in 1910. It was taken on by the LMS at Grouping in 1923, and renumbered '''302080'''. It was later sold to Cadbury’s where it was an internal user vehicle, renumbered '''278'''.
278 was donated to the SVR by Cadbury’s in June 1967, and it is seen stored at [[Kidderminster Railway Museum]]. With along with sister vans [[Caledonian Railway / LMS 304543 Covered Goods Van| 266 (304543)]], [[Wagons formerly resident on the SVR | 268 (300682) and 269 (307455)]] . It was first numbered 'CR 2080' in Caledonian Railway livery and later it was painted into LMSR livery as 302080.<ref>[https://www.miac.org.uk/bournville2.html Railways in Worcestershire website] (Retrieved 30 April 2024)</ref> By 2009 it was stored at [[Kidderminster Railway Museum]], where it is seen in this image. In 2024 Rapido Trains announced a commercial OO gauge model of the Caledonian Railway Dia.67 Goods Van.
