I'd understood Banana vans were steam heated? Didcot's Y7 was/is: "They had insulated bodies and were fitted with steam heating to allow bananas to be shipped in green and ripened en-route".Didcot Railway Centre I haven't added this, in case the Y5 was different--Patrick Hearn (talk) 10:52, 1 December 2024 (UTC)
