Arrival date

The 2857 Society web site states the locomotive arrived on 20 August 1975. The SVRSevern Valley RailwaySVRA:Severn Valley Railway AssociationSVRS:Severn Valley Railway Society Stock Book from 1989 quotes 13 August 1975 for both 2857 and 7325 which arrived in convoy. SVRSevern Valley RailwaySVRA:Severn Valley Railway AssociationSVRS:Severn Valley Railway Society News 37 from Autumn 1975 also quotes 13 August on a number of pages, so I have gone with the earlier date. --Robin (talk) 15:29, 23 May 2017 (UTC)

100 Headcode

I notice the loco carried both a 100,000 miles headboard and 100 headcode just before the recent ASG. I don't know if "100" referred to the 100,000 miles or the loco being 100 years old, or both.--Robin (talk) 14:36, 30 September 2018 (UTC)

It was both, reaching 100000 miles in preservation during its 100th year. I was told on Saturday 15th that it was expected to reach the milestone on Tuesday 18th, although I think the headboard and reporting number were actually fitted on the morning of Wednesday 19th. I haven't seen any photos taken on Tuesday to confirm this. --Graham Phillips 110 (talk) 19:11, 30 September 2018 (UTC)
