Didn't 20177 get moved by road to Washwood Heath some months ago for parts recovery? Sharpo (talk) 13:28, 21 January 2015 (UTC)
Location may be wrong on the SVRSevern Valley Railway web site, but it's still deemed to exist as an SVRSevern Valley Railway loco (not my call!) then it would stay in the table on this site regardless of location. I've added a footnote for clarity.--Robin (talk) 10:08, 22 January 2015 (UTC)

Quote from SVRlive Express Points last September re 20177 "this ‘spare parts’ engine left for Neil Boden’s at Washwood Heath on September 4th with the probability of using her power unit either in part or as a whole to repair sister 8188". Sharpo (talk) 12:17, 22 January 2015 (UTC)

I feel that locomotives which have been disposed of or are no longer resident should be moved from this table (otherwise as a point of reference the Wiki is fairly pointless and people may as well refer to WNXX). Could a table be created for locos which have left the railway with a start and end date of the period they were in residence. This would be really, really useful and could be constructed on an emerging basis?

Welcome aboard. I ought to say I have no ownership of this page or indeed any great knowledge of Diesels. I started it because it looked a bit bare with a empty link to the Diesels page. Anyone can edit it, delete lines, add their own tables or whatever, I won't mind. In general I would suggest that SVRSevern Valley Railway locos (ie those owned by groups based at SVRSevern Valley Railway) at other locations should remain (as should Hinton Manor at Swindon or anything at Eastleigh for example), but anything no longer owned by an SVRSevern Valley Railway based group or no longer existing as a locomotive should not. I don't know exactly how 20177 fits into that definition though, hence my comment "not my call".--Robin (talk) 18:03, 23 January 2015 (UTC)
