Talk:Bridgnorth Footbridge Trust
I've changed the date in the following sentence from 1995 to 1985, as the bridge was already opened by 1995, never mind planning continuing for a further three years
"By 1995 a committee had been formed and over the next three years designs were drawn up and planning permission obtained."
However, my correction is a fairly blind assumption - perhaps someone with SVRSevern Valley Railway News 112 could check one day.
- Thanks - yes it should have been 1985. Bill's article in SVRSevern Valley Railway News 112 (Autumn 1994) said that he came across the pictures and reports in the 1970-71 issues of SVRSevern Valley Railway News about trying to save the old bridge during 1982, and that "after three years there was a committee of five local folk". --Robin (talk) 23:03, 11 February 2021 (UTC)
