99965 was built at Swindon in 1927to Diagram O19, Lot 971. Owned It is a 25 foot 4-wheel 4-plank open wagon with a capacity of 14 tons, designed to carry steel pipes. It originally had the telegraphic code 'Open C', later re-coded ‘Tube’ during the 1940s.  After service with the GWR and BR(W), 99965 was moved to Internal User duties at the Wolverton Carriage Works as number I/U 023308. It was acquired for preservation from there, arriving on the SVR on 5 May 1998. It is owned by [[The GWR 813 Preservation Fund]].<br>
