Purchased by the [[Warwickshire Industrial Loco Preservation Group | Warwickshire Industrial Loco Preservation Group]], 2047 arrived on the Severn Valley Railway in October [[Severn Valley Railway Timeline 1965-1969#1967| 1967]]. It was named "Warwickshire" in 1970.
The locomotive is currently undergoing an overhaul at the Bridgnorth Loco Works.
