The Signalman was a 1976 BBC TV drama based on the ghost story of the same name by Charles Dickens. A full size replica of Highley signal box was erected on the Kidderminster side of Bewdley Tunnel while filming took place, which involved [[GWR Pannier 5764]] and three coaches<ref>SVR News 42</ref>.
