Berrington was a station on the original Severn Valley line between [[Hartlebury]] and [[Shrewsbury]], located at milepost 168m 12c, 4&frac14; miles from Shrewsbury. It opened in 1880 with a single platform and siding, being expanded to a passing loop with two platforms, a signal box, and more significant sidings by 1898<ref>Berrington Railway Station, Wikipedia. [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Berrington_railway_station Link]</ref>. The station closed on 9 September 1963, when passenger services between [[Bewdley]] and Shrewsbury were suspended.
