The reservoir, which is a BR Mark 1 Corridor Second (SK). First preserved managed by Severn Trent Water, was opened in 1991, it fell into disrepair when trapped at Arley for 18 months following the 2007 Storm Damage1968 and covers 29 acres. It then spent some years in storageis open to the public and is used by the Trimpley Sailing Club, being considered possibly surplus to requirementswhile other activities include angling, before being overhauled wildlife watching and returned to service in 2016walking.[[<!--PAGE TO LINK TO--> BR 25771 Corridor SecondTrimpley Reservoirs & Waterworks | (Full article...)]]]]
