It was one Crossing the river to reach the town of Ironbridge required payment of a small batch toll, so the station was probably used more by the people of four first class sleeping cars destined for the London to Milford Haven route. All four survive in preservationnearby Broseley, with two resident on the SVR where they have been used for sleeping accommodationsite of local tile and clay pipe making industries.
