Changes

In 2023 D1048 was moved by rail from the Butterley to the SVR for static exhibition during the [[Diesel galas|Autumn Diesel Bash]]. Immediately afterwards its owners gifted the locomotive to the [[Western Locomotive Association]]. The Railway allowed D1048 to remain for the time being whilst the WLA carried out a full assessment and consulted its membership about returning the locomotive return to working order, if it were to be possible.
