It was originally preserved as is located on the 1 in 100 climb from Bridgnorth towards Hampton Loade, just north of milepost 149. The main line support vehicle for 6000 King George V, before moving B4555 Bridgnorth to Highley road passes over the SVR in 1995 after railway at this location, although the closure of the Bulmers Railway Centre at Herefordrailway is not visible from it.
