==Nabarro and the Wyre Forest Line==
In 1961 some businessmen and railway enthusiasts proposed to run the Tenbury & Bewdley Railway section of the [[Wyre Forest Line#Preservation_proposals|Wyre Forest Line]] as a private enterprise, and were supported by Nabarro and Jasper More, MPs for Kidderminster and Ludlow respectively. Dr. Richard Beeching, chairman of the British Transport Commission, rejected the proposal as a full freight service was to continue<ref>Birmingham Daily Post, 5 and 16 August 1961, via British Newspaper Archive</ref>.
