The large bracket signal (right) was the Engineer who drew up early plans subject of an award-winning restoration in 2006 but has just been taken down for the Severn Valley Railway. His work, which included testimony to committees of both Houses of Parliament, helped to ensure the Railway was built, although he died before its construction begananother major overhaul.
