==80329 in service and preservation==
Post Office Sorting Van (POS) 80329 was built at York in 1968 to diagram number Diagram 728 of lot , Lot 30779.<ref name=RHRCS>Railway Heritage Register Carriage Survey</ref> It was one of two acquired allocated to the London Midland region from entry into service in spring 2000 from BR's Old Oak Common, London. Both were acquired for use on Santa duties at Arley, taking the place of a 'Snake' and 'Siphon' which required a major overhaulNovember 1968 until withdrawal in June 1999.<ref>SVR News 132[[Bibliography#Other References|Longworth (2013)]] p.184.</ref>
It was one of two acquired in spring 2000 from BR's Old Oak Common, London. Both were acquired for use on Santa duties at Arley, taking the place of a 'Snake' and 'Siphon' which required a major overhaul.<ref>SVR News 132</ref>  It is in Post Office Maroon livery, and numbered E80329 (a regional prefix that it did not carry in service). It is normally stored at Kidderminster, being used as [[Santa's Grotto]] at [[Arley]] during December. It is owned by [[Severn Valley Railway (Holdings) PLC | SVR(H)]].
