}}4545 is a BR Mark 1 Tourist Standard Open (TSO) 4545 was built at York in 1956 to diagram number 93 of lot number 30243. The ‘Open Second’ seats 64 passengers at tables, with three cross-vestibules to enable speedier loading and unloading of passengers.
==Service and preservation==4545 was built at York in 1956 to diagram number 93 (AC204), lot number 30243. It went into service on the Eastern Region in March 1957, where it remained apart from an allocation to the Northeast region between January 1966 and January 1968.<ref name=Longworth>[[Bibliography#Other References|Longworth (2013)]] p.57.</ref>  4545 arrived on the SVR in on 14 March 1983 from Neville Hill, Leeds. <ref>SVR Stock Book Ninth Edition</ref> It is used in Set C, the BR Crimson & Cream running set, and is owned by [[Severn Valley Railway (Holdings) PLC | SVR(H)]].
